  • New R&D Breakthrough of KROT! New Generation High Stain-Resistant Rubber Flooring Passes Full Pollution Resistance Tests
Jun. 11, 2026

After 18 months of technical research and breakthroughs by KROT’s R&D team, the new generation of high stain-resistant rubber flooring has completed all performance tests. Its stain resistance and chemical corrosion resistance have been fully upgraded. The product can long resist erosion from various acids, alkalis, disinfectants and colored stains, maintaining a lasting clean surface without aging or discoloration. It has been officially launched for mass production.

Fully Passed Seven Major Pollution Tests with Upgraded Stain Resistance

The core technical breakthrough of this new product lies in its superior anti-pollution and anti-corrosion performance. It has passed strict tests on high-frequency pollutants applicable to medical, educational, commercial and industrial scenarios. After long-term contact with pollutants, the flooring surface shows no discoloration, color penetration, corrosion, tackiness or gloss loss, with overall performance far exceeding ordinary resilient flooring.

(1) Medical Iodophor Resistance Test

Tailored for high-frequency disinfection scenarios in hospitals, a long-term iodophor soaking and residue test was conducted. After 72 hours of static contact with pure iodophor solution and subsequent wiping, the flooring surface shows no yellowing, no marks and no surface corrosion. It completely solves the industry pain point of discoloration, aging and dullness of traditional rubber flooring caused by long-term iodophor disinfection, and is suitable for long-term high-frequency disinfection in hospital corridors, wards, operating rooms and inspection laboratories.

(2) 84 Disinfectant Corrosion Resistance Test

Repeated wiping and static tests were carried out with commercially standard concentration of 84 disinfectant. After multiple continuous disinfections, the flooring surface has no pulverization, roughness or fading. It can resist long-term erosion of strong oxidizing disinfectants and meet the high-intensity disinfection needs of public spaces and medical institutions.

(3) 75% Medical Alcohol Resistance Test

Continuous wiping and wet compress tests were performed with 75% high-concentration medical alcohol. No cracking, swelling or gloss loss occurs after long-term contact. The product adapts to daily regular alcohol disinfection and stably serves high-frequency epidemic prevention and cleaning scenarios such as medical facilities, laboratories and supermarkets.

(4) Acid and Alkali Chemical Reagent Resistance Test (5% Ammonia Water + 5% Acetic Acid Solution)

A 24-hour static dropping test was conducted with 5% alkaline ammonia water solution and 5% acidic acetic acid solution respectively:

- No corrosion, no white spots and no surface peeling in alkaline environments;

- No spots, no penetration and no discoloration traces in acidic environments.

The product can resist splashing and erosion of daily acid-base cleaners and chemical reagents, adapting to the complex service environments of industrial workshops, laboratories and public buildings.

(5) Coffee Stain Resistance Test

By simulating daily coffee splashing scenarios in campuses, offices and shopping malls, no residual color difference or penetrating marks remain after cleaning the stains placed for 2 hours. Ordinary colored beverage stains can be wiped off easily with simple daily maintenance.

(6) Carbonated Drink Resistance Test

Tests on sugary carbonated drinks such as cola and soda show that the product can effectively resist erosion of pigments and weak acid. The surface restores perfect cleanliness after cleaning without stubborn hidden stains.

(7) Ink Penetration Resistance Test

A static ink dropping test targeting common ink splashing in campuses and offices proves that the flooring will not experience color penetration or staining after long-term contact. It can be thoroughly cleaned by conventional methods without permanent stain residue.

In the future, KROT will continue to focus on the technological iteration of functional rubber flooring. With high-quality flooring featuring excellent stain resistance, high stability and long service life, we will provide cost-effective floor system solutions for domestic and overseas engineering projects.
